still trying to get my head around this one. could it be more offensive? i dont think so.
these guys’ schtick is to take old movies and remake memorable scenes using bikini models. ok, i’m with you so far. not that i approve, but at least i can grasp the concept. they have done on the waterfront, raging bull, and 12 angry men. then they decide to remake “schindler’s list.” why? for one thing, its not an old movie, so doesnt even jive with their own premise. heres their mission statement:
Ever wished that all the actors in classic black & white flicks were replaced by bikini models? Well now your wish comes true!
“schindler’s list” is in black and white, sure. but its not a “classic” film in the ways the other selections are. so why did they choose to remake it? what kind of misogynist anti-semite holocaust denier would come up with that?

i encourage my readers to submit examples of self-identified liberal progressives acting like racist, misogynist assholes. heres a recent example i found, all on my own. it wasnt hard to do.
liberal male bloggers recently started an internet smear campaign against fox news host glen beck. which fundamentally i do not have a problem with at all. fox news is certainly not advancing a feminist agenda, and they are no friend of mine. what i do have a big fucking problem with, however, is the decidedly misogynist nature of said “liberal” campaign. specifically, those crafty, creative little liberal turds have decided that laughing at the rape and murder of little girls is an acceptable political tool, and that evoking misogynist hate (their own) is the perfect way to make their (progressive?) point. the point being, apparently, that they are socially-conscious, and have the moral high ground on issues of race and sex.

do you regularly use the words bitch, feminazi, or welfare queen…or complain about paying child support…but you pride yourself in being racially sensitive, and would never, ever think to use the N-word in public? mmm, thats not good. dont you see the contradiction?
regarding feminists and feminism, have you ever used the words “misandry” or “militant”? big fat fucking mistake, right there. do you believe that feminism as a “concept” would be perfectly agreeable, if only feminists themselves weren’t so (fill in the blank)? if so, you are not a feminist, feminist sympathizer, or a progressive. you are an asshole.
do you often say derogatory things about women, using gendered insults (bitter, shrill) and sexual slurs (cunt, whore)? or, when someone calls attention to your white, male privilege, do you assume they are women, and sexually humilate and degrade them in response? bad news, dickcheese. you are about this close to being a goddamn date rapist. you may as well be a republican.

the author of the book “Liberal Fascism,” an unabashedly conservative tome, (NY Times review here) describes a pattern and a history of liberal progressives in this country seeing abortion and birth control as a “solution” to the social problems of disease, poverty, and even “idiocy.” despite the odiousness of the author’s apparent denial of his own party’s racist and sexist history, even the most ardent liberal must concede that at one point in american history, there were eugenicists who self-identified as progressives. but do the eugenicists’ arguments continue on in modern progressive discourse, today?

self-identified liberal progressive men are fucking delusional. and i absolutely cannot stand them for one. more. minute.
its privileged, white men who think they know everything there is to know about all the -isms, even though they have never been subjected to the effects of a single one, themselves. frequently, its twenty-something, privileged white men who are the most self-congratulatory in that regard, despite the fact that their most recent experience with a ‘gender issue’ was that one time they got ‘conned’ into having menstrual sex with a one-night stand. d’oh!
privileged, white men know all they need to know about racism…meaning, just enough to satisfy themselves that they arent racist, themselves. they adopt certain behavior modifications like…begin every racist or potentially racist statement with the prefix “i voted for obama.” or dont drop the N-bomb in public. but they do not adopt the parallel and neccessary thought-modifications to go along with it. the result is the perverse, unnatural disaster that feminist social commentators see every day: the misogynist, racist, classist, homophobic “liberal progressive” man.
